Introduction to the Scale
Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM) - Raven's IQ Test (60 questions) online assessment. The Raven's Progressive Matrices have multiple versions, with the Standard version (SPM) being the most fundamental and commonly used. Developed by British psychologist John C. Raven in 1938, it is primarily based on Spearman's two-factor theory of intelligence.
The SPM is divided into five sets (A, B, C, D, E) totaling 60 questions: Set A assesses perceptual discrimination (12 questions), Set B evaluates analogical comparison (12 questions), Set C measures comparative reasoning (12 questions), Set D examines serial relationships (12 questions), and Set E tests abstract reasoning (12 questions). Comparing scores across these five dimensions helps understand the test-taker's intellectual structure. This scale is suitable for ages 5.5+, with potentially inaccurate results outside this range.
Instructions: The test and results are completely free. Please answer carefully before submitting. Each question shows a large pattern with a missing piece and 6-8 small options below. Select the small pattern that correctly completes the large one. Applicable for ages 6-70; results may be inaccurate outside this range.

Result Interpretation and Guidance
Percentile: >=95
Interpretation: The test-taker demonstrates exceptional intellectual abilities, including superior spatial perception, observation, pattern comparison, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. They exhibit deep and flexible thinking with strong concentration, easily grasping complex relationships and integrating information effectively. Typically outperforming peers across academic, social, and daily life domains with minimal effort.
Guidance: While possessing exceptional intelligence, consider these points:
(1) High intelligence doesn't negate the need for effort. Maintain high standards and persevere through challenges in a supportive environment.
(2) Their advanced learning capacity requires intellectually stimulating materials beyond standard curricula.
(3) Cultivate psychological qualities like perseverance, integrity, responsibility, and emotional intelligence.
Percentile: 75~94
Interpretation: The test-taker shows above-average intellectual abilities with strong spatial perception, observation, and logical reasoning skills. They think flexibly, concentrate well, and effectively process information to solve problems. With effort, they can excel academically and socially.
Guidance: Recommendations include:
(1) Maintain diligent study habits and practical self-development approaches.
(2) Develop emotional intelligence - including emotional awareness, expression, self-regulation, self-control, and reflection - alongside qualities like perseverance and integrity.
Percentile: 25~74
Interpretation: The test-taker demonstrates average intellectual abilities with adequate spatial perception and reasoning skills. They generally understand relationships and process information selectively, solving typical problems while occasionally facing challenges. With effort, they perform satisfactorily across domains.
Guidance: Suggestions:
(1) Identify and develop strengths while addressing weaker areas through targeted training.
(2) Intelligence isn't fixed nor the sole success determinant. Diligence and perseverance can enhance abilities and achievements.
(3) Foster confidence, perseverance, integrity, and responsibility to support well-rounded development.
Percentile: 5~24
Interpretation: The test-taker shows below-average intellectual abilities with weaker observation and spatial perception skills. They identify obvious cues and simple spatial relationships but struggle with complex logic and information integration. Their development lags slightly behind peers with limited interests.
Guidance: Recommendations:
(1) Identify and nurture any specific strengths while providing targeted training for weaker areas.
(2) Set appropriate expectations with adjusted task difficulty, requiring patience, time, and encouragement for gradual progress.
Percentile: <5
Interpretation: The test-taker demonstrates significantly below-average intellectual abilities with poor observation and spatial skills. They struggle with basic cues and relationships, showing inflexible, disorganized thinking unable to process or apply information effectively. Their development lags considerably behind peers with limited attention span and minimal interests. Typically unable to follow standard schooling, requiring special education.
Guidance: Recommendations:
(1) Specialized education tailored to their developmental needs.
(2) Value extends beyond academic achievement - emphasize strengths like kindness and honesty.
(3) Environmental enrichment with observation/thinking activities can potentially enhance cognitive development.
