Introduction
Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD) - Free online screening test. Developed by Zigmond et al., HAD is primarily used for comprehensive screening of anxiety and depressive moods. It consists of two subscales (HA and HD) with a total of 14 items - 7 assessing anxiety and 7 assessing depression. Each item is scored 0-3, with higher scores indicating more severe anxiety or depressive symptoms. Research has shown HAD has good reliability and validity.
