Introduction

Depression Self-Rating Scale for Children (DSRSC) - Free online test for childhood depression. Developed by Birleson (1981) based on Feighner's adult depression diagnostic criteria, the DSRSC can be used as an auxiliary tool for outpatient and hospitalized children with depression, for tracking treatment efficacy, and for preliminary screening of children at risk of depression (e.g., children with depressed parents, personality disorders, declining academic performance, or physical illnesses). This scale is suitable for children aged 7-13.

Note: Higher scores indicate more severe depression. As this is only an auxiliary screening tool, test results are for reference only.
